The Forint/Sterling exchange rate is pretty stable actually. I have most of my earnings at the moment in Sterling so it doesn't have much impact yet!

At £550 or so it is becoming tempting as then I would be sorted for another 5-6 years or so and I am sure once the kids are a little older I will be able to get some more actual photography done........ The K3 II is still £800 or so and that is too much. I would miss my top LCD screen too much to go for any lower specified models.

The last of the new K3s seem to be down to a level where it appears to be a very good upgrade from a K5.....

I was only going to buy replacement cameras used from now on but SRS have them new for the used price locally in Hungary. Possibly not going to be able to hold out for anything coming up new as they would be a bit too expensive!

Worth snaffling? Or wait a few more years until it's replacement comes down to that level and hope the K5 lasts. I would be keeping the K5 regardless.

Here is my DA* 50-135mm 2.8. This is the sale that will make me cry. Bought from York Camera Mart a couple of years ago. I have not had a single problem with this lens and it is a superb performer and I will be very upset to see it go. No blemishes on the glass or body and focus is exactly as it should be. Comes with box, caps and lens hood.

Proof of postage will be taken and tracking numbers provided. The postal service is good from here. I am absorbing a considerable part of the cost in the asking price as I don;t want a foreign sale to be offputting. I am a UK citizen as well if that helps.

I have a UK bank account and a Paypal account linked to a UK bank account so there are no worries from that score as transactions will be in pounds sterling.

This is my DA* 16-50mm which has had a new SDM motor fitted by the local authorised Pentax repair shop last year. Optically superb and no issues since repaired or in terms of general build quality. Had light use from me as I haven't been using the Pentax much as I was ill last year. Comes with box, pouch, caps and lens hood. Purchased from this forum.
