Picked some broccoli for lunch yesterday got it on the kitchen work surface
and found it had a hitchiker.. taken with my k100 and kit lens (I think I'd really like a cheap macro lens)... ps the broccoli was great with a cheese sauce and no spider...jeff

Gwyn , So sorry . Until we lived here we had never had dogs ,not the right life stile , long working hours for both of us. Earning a living paying a mortgage you know the story. And now our lives are very different , Dogs are remarkable at getting under your skin and becoming very important and such a pleasure and well.. joy .. mourn her passing and then get another ..Jeff

If you want to cheer yourselves up about your crummy broadband connections try rural France. We have about 0.5mb and we're one of the lucky few to have speeds that good.
Or try rural Crete for the first few years we lived here we had no broadband at all. The phone lines too our village are to old to support it. So in 2009 we invested
in a satellite system , it works great ... jeff

Thanks pentaxian450 I've been thinking about this while I was walking the dogs you know I'm torn between trying to capture the aerial stuff or the action on the ground ei a row of 20 6 or 8 inch pots firing in rapid succesion, the smoke, the fuse catching,or trying to freeze a large shell leaving the pot , you know serious hard hat stuff ... Hi ,do the two pentacons, that I got with a proper Pentax adapter 15or 20years ago in Lancaster for I think 15 quid count? I was'nt very impressed with them then, but I think that was operator error mostly. Any tips to get the most out of these? ... Jeff
