Nice

...even though it's not a Pentax
Gorgeous! Camera designed by one of my absolute heroes, Sixten Sason.

They've just sold the camera division to the people who took over VAIO from Sony (VAIO is doing well in the far east)...could still be life left in the brand.

It was a nice looking system - just a shame I dislike EVFs.

The demise of Pentax has been predicted since the mid-80s.

Morning Clockwork

I know Uxbridge well, lived in Hillingdon for 20+ years and went to Uxbridge College and used the station a lot for travel, that should make for an ideal spot for some street photography along with its art deco look.
Something worth photographing in Uxbridge? Short stone throw away from me, must investigate.

It's an f4.5 lens, at a time when most budget 70-200 lenses were f5.6 at the long end. I recall using mine on Z-series bodies (Z-10, Z-20 and Z-1p) with no AF issues.... Doesn't matter that the screw drive AF makes it;s presence felt as the Z-1p shutter could be heard 10 miles down the road.

MF is possible by the very narrow non-rubber bit at the front of the lens, but I rarely had to use it.

I'm going wow at the Tokina 70-210 f4.5. It's the all glass verson isn't it? I had one before I 'upgraded' to the Sigma 70-300 APO Macro, about 23 years ago...

Great lightweight lens for someone.
All metal, lightweight, internal zoom, and pretty Damn sharp, when using the sweet spot...was the 70-300 an upgrade?
same model, just wonder if it might be my old one as the hood IIRC was an optional extra. The Sigma was bought for that extra 90mm and the reviews were favourable when it came out, they were about £300 at the time. I persisted with the Sigma until I got the EX twins, then the DA* and FA* and now just arrived with the 3 beasts - D-FA*70-200, Nikkor 80-400 and 200-500.

Someone on here did buy my old Tokina 400 f5.6..

Since half of the Netherlands is below sea level and water flows downhill, why doesn't the below sea-level bit become a huge pond when it rains? :

I remember going to New Orleans in 2005 for a conference. Our informative taxi driver (informal tour guide) asked us why bodies were buried above ground for a quiz on the way to the hotel, the answer was that because a lot of New Orleans was below sea level, what is left won't contaminate the water if ever New Orleans was flooded.

Dutch colleague retorted - we don't have that problem in the Netherlands!! Direct as always!

Of course, this was a few months before Katrina.

£25 for a roll of Ektachrome!!

Last E6 film I bought was Elitechrome in 2012 (still some in the fridge) - 5 rolls for €20 with processing vouchers!! This was from Karstadt in Germany and not long afterwards they closed their photography section (the company is like Debenhams/HoF - lurching from one crisis to another).
