Lovely images.

Hope you enjoyed your stay on the island. I believe the HPB place is a beautiful spot. I'm pleased that you took up one of my suggestions - South Stack.

I don't like it. The colour scheme of the old forum was much more restful for the eyes. As George says in an earlier posting "it's not broke, so....". And yes, it would be nice to see where the poster is based. Furthermore when adding a comment the comment box shoots out of sight (on my PC whatever) and I have scroll down again only to be told I have an error when I have not even started. And even more when one previews it shoots to the top of the page and there is a need to scroll down again.

Typo? "Check this box to recieve notifications" see below.

Sorry to be so negative, but I've spent the last ten years doing s/w QA.

Progress??

Once again I'm late, good excuse this week - a migraine - anybody know a good cure, in offering my congratulations to the worthy winner and to Martin for his judging. Thanks also to Martin and to Gwyn for the kind words although I did not make the podium or anywhere near it, one day perhaps. It's great seeing all the skill that's on display in this forum - and we don't have to pay!!!!

Keep them coming.

Can anybody point in the direction of how to use smilies?

Both taken in a hurry from our kitchen window and not properly thought out.

This is the first time I have submitted anything to the "Your Photos" section so all suggestions happily taken on board.

Thanks

Lovely dog, lovely photograph. But why not clone out the bit of lead sticking out the top of his head.

Safe trigger voltages have been discussed before here -

and the web site you require is mentioned in one of the posts.

Good luck.

avoid the A55 if you can unless you want to stop in Conwy..
especially tomorrow, Friday, as there is a fuel protest by lorry drivers on the M56 from Stanlow on the M56 all the way to Conwy.

However, normally on a Saturday morning the A55 is quite free flowing and quite fast. Mind the 50mph limit at Colwyn Bay.

There are several photogenic places on Anglesey, one of my favourites is South Stack outside Holyhead. There's also Llanddwyn, Beaumaris for the castle, Penmon, Menai Bridge for the bridges. I love Anglesey, but then I am biased as I was born and bred in Holyhead, as a welsh speaker.

Try these sites for ideas

If you go to South Stack keep the children away from the cliff edges.

Also as Gwyn says look at Simonkit images on here and his website.

Enjoy yourself.

Overall a nice photo with some ugliness going on behind the scenes...even a photo that makes a statement
It's one I took in my film days when I was doing an evening course and the theme of my portfolio was "Out and About in Cheshire" and I'd captioned it with something along the lines "What the Cheshire Tourist Office would not want to show".
