<snip>I did my first product shoot at a client's with the Metz 58 today and the wireless light sensor was less than reliable. I am still getting to grips with it, but it seems to need to be pointing right at the camera and quite close, (10 feet) although it may have been something else.</snip>
I've not used any remote triggers personally so I can't give you a recommendation, however, for the money I've heard good things about the Cactus V2s's that you can get on ebay. They're not as well featured or powerful as Pocket Wizards but they seem to give reliable results (I hear). <snip>Maybe should invest in some decent backdrops, seem to be plenty on ebay.</snip>
In addition to the cards themselves I also carry some assorted clamps that I bought from B&Q and blu-tack - voila! A cheap, flexible mini studio and enough change from a £20 note to buy yourself a drink to celebrate...

My only complaint would be along the same lines as the others above; ditch the music! It's annoying and a waste of bandwidth. For every (potential) customer who finds it a pleasant backdrop I can pretty much guarantee there'll be 10 who find it a complete turn-off.
Good overall effort though - your photography has come on in leaps and bounds!
