As long as the serial number is only owned by one person and used on one computer then there shouldn't be a problem. If you were to sell it on but also keep using the software yourself then there would be a licensing problem.

Wow!

I found it all quite inspiring stuff and I'd love to have a bug portfolio like that this time next year. I certainly need quite a bit more practice first though...

I like the first picture of the spider; looks like he's dropped his keys over the edge of the leaf.

Were these taken with your new macro flash?

I missed a trick there, didn't realise there were freebies to be had! Still, I got to handle the DA35 and that was good enough for me...

I can't get there until about half 2 so make sure no-one breaks the 35 before I have a chance to play!

Are you likely to have 35 Macros for sale on the day or just one to play with? I'm sorely tempted but I'd like to see one "in the flesh" and if I do fall in love with it then I'd want to be bringing one home with me...

Very nice indeed!

Does it feel any different in actual use to your GX10?

Thanks Gwyn, I'll dig a little deeper.
Hefty1 - yes I stopped at 6 - still nice and fast. The boys in the office have CS2 but I won't use it. I use the Pentax software to open raws if I need to.

I would like to be able to use something different but my clients (I'm in the design industry) all use Adobe and with my knowledge of PS it is still the best kit for me.

If I want to view, rotate, crop etc I just use Fastsone viewer. Google it, it's brilliant and doesn't recompress JPEGs or ruin the exif.
I actually get on quite well with the Pentax software for developing RAW files and only use PS5 for more advanced editing. Like you I come from a design background and I've been using Photoshop much longer than I've been using digital cameras, I still rely on it for a large proportion of my income so it makes good economic sense to stick with software that I know inside-out and which still does a fine job.
