There were five of us Pentaxians at Stowe yesterday; myself and (from left to right) Fiona, Dan, Vic and Danny.

The weather was fantastic and there was plenty to photograph from architecture...

...to landscapes...

...and even wildlife (but before Dan and Danny upload their dragonfly shots I thought you'd like a "making of" preview).

A great day all round with almost too many photo ops to choose from, so some of us went for speed...

...while others were a lot more methodical in their approach (looking forward to seeing how all those in-camera HDR shots came out Dan).

The venue was a photographer's dream and well worth a visit if you haven't been before. I'll be popping back soon for sure!

Nice to see you all!

I got home and promptly fell asleep for a couple of hours, hence I've only just gone through the pics but first impressions are quite good - I'll post a couple of them up tomorrow.

Still can't believe how lucky we were with the weather!

If it is a third of that then I may have a fighting chance of owning one after all, however, if it's using the same sensor as the Leica I can't see how they'll be able to shave *that* much off the price.

I'll be happy to be proved wrong in this instance though.

Would anyone want to guess what the price might be?
£10-12,000 body only to undercut the Leica S2 I reckon.

I thought that a 100% viewfinder are harder to align probable since there is less room for error then with a 95% viewfinder and that was the reason why they use a 95% viewfinder.
I've heard that before but I'm not sure if it's true or just one of those urban myths. Be interesting to know

so when a review says the k20 has a 95% viewfinder accuracy ,(what is the k200 accuracy ?) does that mean that 5% is removed equally from top/bottom , sides ? going to try some test shots to determine if theres a fault . thanks, tim.
Yes, it means you're seeing the central 95% of what the sensor captures. The K200D shows slightly more at 96%.

I'd certainly be happy to use AA's for everything - it would make life a whole lot simpler!
