I still reckon it's a Super-Tak 55/1.8, a Super-Tak 200/4 and two unknowns (of which the one I originally thought was a Sigma zoom may just be a teleconverter sat on the hood for the 200). Which SMC Taks are you looking for? Something nice to go with your new Jupiter-9? Let me know if there are any SMC Taks amongst them...

I thought someone was bound to outbid me but there was only one other offer after mine and it obviously wasn't enough!
I've got more screw mount stuff than I can possibly use too, but for that sort of money I just can't resist a bargain - even if I end up selling most/all of it on again after I've had a play with it.

I thought it'd be worth a little punt to find out so I put in a cheeky £40 and got them for £30.60.
I'll let you know what they actually are when they turn up. Something incredibly rare and valuable I hope (doubt)!

I'm usually quite impressed with Pentax representation in "open" competitions; it's not uncommon to see anywhere between 5-10% of finalists using Pentax equipment, which considering how many cameras Pentax actually sell (compared to the big boys) means they seem to punch well above their weight. It's just a more exclusive club...

I don't think it's snobbery, it's just that Pentax only holds just under 3% of the market share so by law of averages you'll see far fewer Pentax photos than you will Canon and Nikon. Nothing to stop you entering next year and bucking the trend.

No problem.
I tend to go all the way out to 300 and then just back it off a little bit - that way I don't need to take my eye away from the viewfinder. It's a lens that doesn't like the extremes much but works rather well in the middle
