basically i have scratched the focus screen with a blower,
first i noticed a hair on the mirror, so took lens of to blow away, but would not blow of, so used the brush, worked ok, put lens back on, and noticed what looked to be lots or splinters of hair from the brush, looked inside again and nothing on the mirror or screen the stuff was on the top of the focus screen, so blowed it with the rocket blower and scratched the screen(what a wa***R)

Just spoken to SRS for you Dan "the very nice man" Says if you send the camera they will fit the screen for you and just charge postage + the part Chris does them in about 3 mins, I personally would do that.
So it looks like the screen will cost £31.99 + postage, and no charge for fitting, Now that is what I call service

Good grief, you don't want to post your camera back just to have the screen changed.
Buy a new screen. It will come with special tweezers that make fitting easy. Look up the video on YouTube for how to.
The K200D takes a different size screen to the K20D.

It's ever so easy. The only potential problem is dust can get on it, but that can happen even if you don't change the screen yourself as dust gets in the camera.

Sorry I didn't realise the fitting procedure was different for the K200D. It's been exactly the same with my K20D, K10D and *ist DS.
I don't know what the loose bits are. Shims?
SRS are bound to be able to put it right for you if you can't yourself. You were considering sending the camera it back anyway.
