I used my 18-55 Mk1 on a Pentax P30 manual focus body to get the shots on page 2.

I used a similar set up to yours, adding a Pentax FAJ 28-80 to bridge the gap. I don't use it nuch but ehy I have a choice.
What you really need to do is decide what you want a lens for. Try a SMC-A 50 f1.7 to start with

The police seem to be targeting the wrong people EVERY time. Where did the London bombers get their info?
Not from DSLR usage but by visiting the targeted areas.

Are they any use on a K200d?( considering that the sensor doesn't always sit level!)
