Standard lens pictures.
straight out of the camera, no PPing. Taken outside the Maritime Museum in Holyhead. Unashamed link http://www.holyheadmaritimemuseum.co.uk/.
I had thought of entering this in last week's competition until I reread the title - I thought it said "Made of Metal"

It is one of three shots with this lens that made it in to the PPG. So I am proud to say that 1/6 of all shots with this lens in PPG are mine.
Peter, I just love that shot!

Nice ones so far, even if Prienei is cheating just a bit
Ooops
I didn't read the 18-55 bit in your original post. Just thought that general 'kit lens' was required. As I don't have any 18-55 this is as close as it gets (and I think it can be said that the 18-35 isn't better than any of the 18-55).
BTW: Which one is 'the' standard 18-55, Mk I or Mk II?

It ain't no sin to take off your skin, and dance around in your bones.Tom Waits.
The Mk.1 that I have needs to be stopped down for sharpness and to avoid vignetting, so I used it on f8 almost exclusively for the Sissinghurst series. It was a fine day so that was not a problem light-wise , and I am very pleased with the results.
I got annoyed on another forum a while back with someone who had bought a "kit" and before having posted any photos was describing the 18-55 as "crap". What nonsense.

As for the 16-45s, they tend to be an expensive extra as far as this thread is concerned.

Mustn't forget the Zenits, or folders, or...
