With luck, John, they will.

I stopped buying AP because it appeared to be a Canon "in-house" publication.

The camera press in general lost my interest when they voted the best anything over the last year as Canon or Nikon, forgetting all other brands.

As an aside, but related thought, we ordered a bottle of whisky as a 50th birthday present for a very good friend in Sweden.

He received it three months late after it had been to Swaziland and Switzerland.

The courier, who else but the Royal Mail....

You get even more magnification by reversing a 28mm lens.

Also, reversing a 28mm onto a 135mm can give interesting results.
My brain hurts at the thought of that John.

Don't you just love our postal systems. What will happen if Gordon sells the PO of to Holland, parcels from Watford to Cambridge via Amsterdam?

Still...

Enjoy the lens when it arrives.

So what is Pentax UK up to in regards to the pricing of the K-7, are they using you guys as guinea pigs too test the waters, hoping to sell enough of them to warrant price increases across the board on all products. :

Shenanigans are afoot
Unfortunately we seem to be in a market led economy!

By that, Clarky, I mean we're told by the press we MUST buy the latest kit and like idiots,a lot of people spend well over the odds on the latest toy whether they need it or not.

Canon used this when they released the Eos 500, now £200-£300 cheaper in the shops and still over priced.

The thing top remember is that the quoted prices are "street" prices.

Should Chris obtain lenses cheaper he would pass that saving on to his customers, unlike some stores who seem to hoard stock until the price goes up!

As for Sigma and Tamron alternatives, I use them but prefer the better optics in Pentax lenses.

Lets just hope this isn't a ploy to kill of the camera section by Hoya.

I'm back at work in motorcycle kit, can't wait to sweat off some of those extra pounds I've put on.

As for you in Spain, well remember that you need to keep you body fluids topped up, that's what all the bars and cafes are for

It's a known problem and has been mentioned in the past.

Still don't know why it happens but the IT boys keep trying to sort it.
