As soon as I can get out, Dave.

It is winter over here after all. Having said that, it was a nice sunny day of about 16degrees C, but just not long enough for me to get out after work and get some pics.
The K-7 is supposedly weather sealed and will work down to -10 degrees so get out there NOW

You have a duty as the first official K-7 owner.
Or just take some shots of the wife, a beer, the dog, infact ANYTHING!!!

that way we'll stop nagging

3 and4 are classic shots, Red arrows, moody sky, well captured.

Going for the long shot with the 4x4s works well as well.

Nice

Yes, good pose and colour.

Honesty also likes it, she tells me

You don't want a K20d, wait a little and get a K-7.

Go on, you know you want too.

Go, on.

Go. on.

Is the Oz price lower because your nearer Japan and it lowers the carraige costs?

Or are we being ripped of over here in Europe?

On a serious note, LET'S SEE SOME PICS!!!

sorry for shouting

In good light you can hand hold the Tamron 70-300, I do!

If it's a bit dodgy I just lean against a handy lamp/tree/house/car.

When using the Macro switch you can focus down to just over 3ft, giving superb results like this

Out of interest, these lenses vary in quality results on different bodies. Mine is super sharp on my K110d but less so on my K200d, don't know why!

You should have no trouble with quality on your *istDl, look forward to lots of fun...

6 looks like that Lewis lad, is it?

If it was did he do better than in the F1 season so far?

Poor lad, a paper cup would be welcome this year after his torrid results!

Good panning by the way...

Like the roller, but the silver ladies arms don't stand out enough against the sky for me.

The Triumph looks like a 70's brochure shot, nice.

As for the lens, there aren't any bad Pentax 18-55s out there, it's probably the best kit lens available, in all it's Pentax/Samsung guises, out there.
