If it's coming to this I'm off down the pub!

I've been using these batteries for around a year and didn't know they were still available!

As for life, well twelve months and still going strong! Unlike a set of expensive s*** ones that died within eight months.

Cash back, now when's that going to be linked to the K-x?

I got cash back on my K200d, it took the sting out of buying a new camera.

£100 seems a logical start on the new model, seeing the list price is so high.

Hefty, if I was to buy one I'd certainly look at the blue one. It would make it easier to distinguish in the bag of black bodies!

But in this day of bigger better faster, some of us just want solid, reliable and eye catching.

A Limited release of such a body would boost sales and get comments from the press.

Besides, I like the look of the silver *ist bodies.

Ignore them George, they're only jealous!

The only other heron I've seen in the UK was a DeHavilland one.

I handled a white K-m and, as Hefty says, the finish was good, the colour being in the plastic not sprayed on.

As for Clip on panels.

Maybe somebody at Pentax will take note.

I'd also like the next new body moulding to have provision for an adjustable rear screen, allowing it to be tilted for high/low use.

As for the K-m/K-x using the same moulds, that's a good thing in my view as it helps keep development and production costs down. Who knows, Pentax could revive the older moulds and do Ltd bodies from the *ist range with 12/14 meg sensors!

It's announced in the US, link here.

They kept this quiet, the first I knew about it was Yesterday!
Knew about it about 10 days back ... and at that time the intention to announce in October, but on Monday heard it was being pulled forward.
You could have told us!
