Just noticed on the Japanese site that their twin lens kit will have the 55-300 in it.
That's a kit worth buying, if the price is right!

Let hope the option of 4 colours makes the dealer's WANT to sell them. After all they should be able to stock one of each colour at least.

Pentax need to develop a 'range' of cameras.
If they keep the K-m, add the K-x, produce a 'cut down 12MP' K7 as well as the K7, then the press might just take the company seriously.
As for the K-x, I'll hold judgement until I've played with one.

As for the Tammy, I decided not togo for a Pentax55-300 because the IQ difference was not worth it, I must have a good Tammy!

The 55-300 is a new lightweight version of the normal lens.
Besides, the IQ should be better than many after market offerings. It is a Pentax after all!
