Not really though and BTW it's the standard that support up to 2TB, they still need to make such cards I believe.
That's what was said about 16gig cards a few years back Stefan.

Keep watching, the memory firms will do it.

When they do watch laptops and notebooks adopt the cards as a main drive.

Welcome, there's plenty on here who have K7s so you'll get all the advice you need.

It looks cold Kris.

Sparse but thought provoking, I like it.

Phew!

Good point Don, but I'd suggest getting a feel for film first, then dual shooting.

I dropped a SMC-A 28-80 and did the front element a while back.

Still it taught me to be careful and change lenses over something soft, like my camera bag.

Just a thought, is it worth having repaired by Harrow Technical?

Good luck with the film experiment Amin,

But please don't ditch the digital side, I was just stirring the water with the 6 months remark!

I feel that once you've tried film, suffered the failures you'll inevitably have and been wowed by the perfect shots, it'll help you in the digital world.

Above all remember that photography is for your enjoyment, and the pleasure it can give to others( still think your smoke, bubble, water shots are amongst the best I've seen anywhere)

I seem to recall slide film includes developing in the original cost, I could be wrong but some body will let us know.Link to jessops Fuji slide film for your information

I only use film because I got a load cheap on ebay, and It's easier to scan, the linked image was taken with out of date Jessops ASA200 film. I have adjusted scanned prints in Elements 4 with no bother, after all they're just a JPEG file!

Slide quality is much better. Whether that will show on a CD form developers I don't know.

Most stores will do a CD at the time of developing, for a small extra charge.

I usually get the cheapest matt finish prints and scan them using an ordinary flat bed scanner. Here's a sample scanned image

It all depends how tight you are with the cash!

I'm up for that Jack...

...but the wife says no!!!

She suggests the weekend 31st Oct/1st Nov in Newcastle.

That's when the Marie Currie zip wire will be up from the Tyne bridge to HMS Caliope. The event's on the Sunday and my daughter (User name Honesty on here) is doing it!

Link to Marie Curie site here.

For cheap(er) glass around 50mm I prefer the various incarnations of the Helios 44. It is slightly longer (58mm) and makes a better portrait lens on digital.
I've had several of these pass through my hands over the past few years and find the 44-2 model the most consistent.

Build seems solid enough, it's the care they were assembled with that makes the difference.

I also have a Tessar f2.8 50mm which gives good results on digital.

Sorry to confuse you even further...
