That's interesting Neal, do you have any recommendations as to which kit to try, I still haven't ruled pot playing with colour...

Welcome Daryl.

I don't have an LX, I have a lot of others but no LX, still..

They tell me the K7 is a superb body, maybe that would fit nicely alongside your LX.

No doubt somebody else around here will disagree.

Points takem, I'll stick to labs for colour and play with the B&Ws myself.

Thanks guys.

Hmm, the thing is I have a bag of C41 colour films and don't really want to pay 'Crappy Snap Klicky' or who ever to develop them.

Looks like I have 2 choices, sell the films and buy B&W ones, or experiment.

I could go for the second one if I had some idea what kit/chemicals to buy ad how they work.

Hi Bjorn, if the lens is yellowing don't worry just leave it in the sun (in Trondheim!!!), as far as I recall any colouring will fade in sunlight.

If you have a DSLR and want to use the lens, in manual mode, make sure you get an adaptor that focuses to infinity, like this one.

Enjoy the Spotmatic, a fine camera.

OK, as some out there know, I've acquired a 'Rondinax' style tank for 35mm developing.

Black and white film, easy, why I didn't try earlier I'll never know!

But, has anybody tried the Tetenal colour kit or similar?

Or any other colour developing kit?

Are they complete and how easy are they?

I know it's a lot of questions, but if I'm to try it out I want to have my eyes open as to the problems.

Only pleased?

I'd be over the moon!

Catching movement, colour and depth in one shot isn't easy, but you did it.

I find a clean widgetless FF install starts quicker than a similar IE8 one. I also find that after a few weeks FF gets lazy, all the bloat ware just slows it down!

As for Chrome, Tried it, hated it, it offered nothing new so...

I think the lesson for me is to keep the bumph out of my browser.

That snow covered thing is a tree!

As for flat, the first was a 'snap' shot with my Optio E50, I was surprised that any came out at all the light was that bad.

The last one was taken pointing up with bright light on either side of the arch, this might be a candidate for a little PP!
