Translation sense makes does not! to quote Yoda.

The images of the body are very interesting though.

Who's off topic?

I was mearly offering a deal for 'spiders lens!

Still if he's determined to get a lighter prime, say a *300 and a decent converter then who am I to argue?

BTW I've seen the lens and it's a good deal he's offering, I just can't afford it.

If by cheap you mean it can be thrown away if it breaks then give it a try.

As far as I know chinon lenses were made in the pre digital days so the image quality may not be too great.

If the price is above a couple of quid and you can't try it then...

I tend to agree with Stef and Bret.

Bigmas are expensive, well-regarded lenses, so it follows that the resale value will be high.

If you decide to sell and get no takers I'll swap you for a bottle of scotch and some ice cubes..

The dye from red diesel lasts a very long time apparently, which has absolutely nothing to do with new tc's whcih I believe are assembled from spare parts
Much like my old Land Rover!

I learnt to weld lying underneath it in the rain!

Ah, the tingle from an electric welder, memories eh?

It would have been cheaper to fly to China and buy a TC than run the damn thing.

OT, the adaptors don't turn up that often and when they do I feel the price is too high

Come on Pentax, remake this item and market it properly.

Thanks Neal.

I'll bear in mind all the warnings and comments made, if I do try it out I'll let you know.

Welcome to the forum, I'm afraid the only thing we can't help with is LBA.

Don't worry though your not alone, most of us have fallen victim to this (wallet) crippling complaint and some are even recovering!

Have a look at this adaptor, it could save you some cash. I know it's not a genuine Pentax one but still...

Why not - they are happy enough to defraud us
Come come now!

We are an honest forum where nobody would do such a thing...

... my mate knows how to bleach red diesel, he says...
