It's a while since we had a pointless, rambling topic. One where people could say anything, as long as it's not too serious!

The last one went on for 7 pages, so here it is.

I've just stacked 2 tons of wood in our wood shed.

Going back to the original question, I think there's no doubt that the sealing on the bodies works.

What does worry me is how daft we all are for going out in stupid weather in the first place!

This was part of a University Photographic Society tour. It was great because the guide told us a little about the Cathedral and then left us to it. I'd really like to do this again, but with the Horseman!

Best wishes, Kris.
I like the Triforium. I wonder if they would accept an organised Pentax meet?
That's a thought...

I was in Durham Cathedral last month. They don't let you take pictures now so these shots are nice to see Kris.

I recently used my K200 in atrocious weather in spain.

The only problem was the non sealed Sigma lens fogging up when we went into bars!

Incidently the little Optio E50 isn't waterproof but survived no trouble!

OK, point taken.

I take holidays With cameras though...

...and video is way down on my list of entertainment.

I've sat through too many family videos that have no point at all.

I know what you mean about a split screen Kris.

I've been using a couple of Spotties recently without split screens, 2 out of 3 are OK the 3rd shot is OOF!

Nice depth in your shot and a good feel for the subject.

It was the ease of getting bodies from ebay that got me back to film, I always liked the simple, easy feel of a manual SLR, my first one being a Zenit 11 which is still around somewhere.

The first SLR I ever used was a Spotmatic owned by my art teacher, I now have 3 different models and have used all of them.

I always wanted a ME, Super or otherwise, yes I now have them, as well as the rest of the M series and a bag full of others and lenses.

Most have been used, some more than others.

When we go for a photo walk we usually take the DSLRs and a couple of film bodies, one for rapid shooting, the other for art.
