I have finished modifying my Bellows Unit and I'm pretty happy with the end result. Now the work starts in copying all my old negs and slide.

What I like about this Elicar is that it is f2.5

Thanks for pointing out the Elicar, I have just won one with built in ring flash for UKP 45, delivery on Tuesday.
I was in the market for a Pentax 100mm f4 and ring flash, but could not resist this as it combines everything and it's 1:1 versus the Pentax 1:2

It sure would be handy if someone could come up with a dual electronic shutter release for the DSLR and mechanical aperture release for the lens. I'm not asking too much am I.
I'm in the process of making the modifications to my K Bellows so that I can copy slides. Scanning on a flatbed scanner simply takes too long, so it's either this or they never get digitised :

I use the Uniross Hybrio, for all my AA and AAA needs, they definitely hold their charge for many months, the only disadvantage is that they only have a 2100ma rating so do not, in use, last as long as the higher capacity normal NiMh batteries.

Can someone please tell me the correct name of this set of Cokin filters, they came with a ME Super kit which I bought for two of the lenses. With all this talk about filters I'm now inspired to try them out.

I constantly see reference's to a picture being a 100% crop of the original and I don't understand why the 100% is important. Does it mean that the image was enlarged to 100% on the screen and then the wanted portion cut and saved as a new file, would there be any difference to the quality of the crop if it was selected from a 50% or 200% enlargement.
