Does anybody use or know what these batteries are?

I bought some a few months back, they come pre-charged and are supposed to hold it for a long time. I bought them for my flashgun, not had any problems with them as yet but its really too soon to say, ask me again in a couple of years

They are long life, low self-discharge hybrid rechargeables - like Eneloops. It looks like a great price too.

I use them in a K200D and battery grip and they are fine. (The Lithiums that came with the camera are still in their packaging).

Cheers

Hi,

I use the Uniross Hybrio, for all my AA and AAA needs, they definitely hold their charge for many months, the only disadvantage is that they only have a 2100ma rating so do not, in use, last as long as the higher capacity normal NiMh batteries.

Unless the NiMHs are very freshly charged, they won't be up to their notional capacity anyway.

I find my Infiniums seem to last just as long as a NiMH in practice.

They look like rebranded Hybrios. These were some of the first of this type of rechargable battery - predecessor of Eneloops.

I had a set and they were very good, held their charge much longer than a standard rechargable and stayed fresher when not in use. They were very useful in colder weather as they didn't have to be hot out of the charger to hold their charge.

Must admit, they only lasted about a year in my K100d, but i did use them almost all the time. I still use them, but their performance went off (but still outdid standard recgarges for holding the charge when not in use).

I'd say if these are cheaper than Eneloops then give them a go. the rebrand might also mean an improvement in performance.

I use Tesco's own brand rechargables in my K220D and grip. I put my current set into both camera and grip and have taken over 800 pictures (RAW) in a week and they're still full of power. They only take an hour to charge and come with a car-charger.

I got a set of 4 and a charger for £8 with a second set of 4 free. I've had them over a year and use them in my Metz 58 flash. They have only been charged once so I'm well pleased with them.
The older I get the faster I was.
