Thanks but I already have the Pentax 400mm f5.6 I'm trying to get the last long lens that I'm missing excluding the out of my reach * lenses.
Greg

Is 30fps timelaps, I thought that was real time video?

Greg

Yes, I dealt with them in early September so they were already in trouble.

Greg

I also thought that it was very cheap, not 250 but 295 I see, that's why I phoned them and they confirmed it's condition, here is the extract from their price list
link but I can't accesses their site at the moment MXV.co.uk.

They were selling it on a commission basis for a private seller.

Code Make Item Condition Price (£)
C 31368 Pentax 500 f4.5 K (tiny ctg marks will not affect perf) Exc+ 295

I do not expect to find another one at that price but when shipping is added to the prices you quote it becomes too expensive.

Greg

Thanks,
I've seen that one but way out of my price range. I missed out on one in the UK the other day for UKP250.00, they (?X?? Company, can't remember the exact name) gave me a quote for shipping and when I phoned to place the order someone else had already phoned and reserved it and then bought it.
Greg

Anyone got a Pentax 500mm f4.5 lens they are ready to part with,
Greg

I have an aversion for plastic wobbly lenses and will never put one them next to my head on the pillow at night to admire whilst I falling asleep

Enjoy enjoy the cable release.

Greg

To try and understand why this transaction was a bargain I checked out the Lens Reviews on PF and see that the average price of the lens is $428.00 which to my mind is high. The reviews are not very complimentary about the lens and it only has a 7.3 average rating.

So what justifies the price?

Greg

Thanks Pete,

That's the info I was after, I'll go and try it out.

Greg

To go back to my original question
