Wonderful photographs take me back to a time when I was an active biker. I owned some of the bikes you have shown including a Suzuki T500M and then a Suzuki GT500A. Great carefree days when summer seemed to last forever. Now in my 60's and although I still hanker after a bike and keep up with the latest trends my wife says NO!

Brand new, boxed and unused K-50 body (white). The K-50 came as a kit with the 18-135WR which I am using and have decided to keep.
The box contains: White K-50 body, Battery lithium-Ion D-LI109, Battery charger K-BC109, Cable USB I-USB7, Strap O-ST132, Software CD-ROM S-SW138, Instruction manual, Viewfinder cover, Hot-shoe cover, Body mount cover. Everything in the box is brand new and unused £240 including RMSD

Thanks both for your replies. This tower is situtated on a narrow path with a busy road just behind so one cannot get too far back for fear of being run over hence the difficulty is getting a 'straight' photo. I could of course use the gridline in the viewfinder which I always forget about!

This comment is addressed to all reading this, who have ordered a K-50 & 18-135 kit from Argos.
Before I retired I was a Trading Standards Officer specialising in consumer advice.
If you have ordered and paid for goods and they have not arrived within the stated time frame a breach of contract has occurred. As such you are entitled to pursue Argos in the matter and either chase them up seeking fulfilment of your order or if for any reason they cannot do so, a prompt, full refund. If you have paid using a creditcard then by virtue of S75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 the credit card issuer is also liable if Argos are not obliging. As the same kit is available elsewhere albeit at a higher price you may have a legal argument to pursue Argos for 'loss of bargain' ( the difference in price if you now pay more for the same goods). If you are minded to pursue for this loss I would first suggest getting free up to date advice from the National Consumer helpline (tel: 03454 040506 Mon- Fri 9-5)

As an aside, on 7th January I took up the Argos offer via their Ebay outlet shop and purchased the K-50 +18-135 kit anticipating delivery between 23-25 February. However I received an email and phone call within two days and a courier delivered the kit on 10th January. I have tried out the lens on my K-30 and it works fine. The white K50 is still packaged in the box and I have no reason to doubt it too will be OK. I am undecided whether to keep the k-50 so might consider selling it.

I too own a K-30 and successfully use manual lenses but have no experience of a mirror lens.
Have you come across a website run by a chap called Robert Donovan? On it has written a very good article entitled "Shooting manual lenses on a Pentax" - See link below.
