Beautifully restored Ariel Square four photographed at Marks Tey, Essex using a DA50-200.

I used to own a dedicated camcorder and it was very good at producing moving images. It also had a stills function and the results were disappointing. Likewise my K-30 makes excellent photos but is worse at filming. I also have simple 2G mobile phone that is very good for talking and texting. I do not believe in multi purpose electronic devices because there is always at least one compromised function. Perhaps I'm just old fashioned !

Tried it once on my K-30 but not as impressive as my point and shoot Panasonic TZ25

I've just ordered (yesterday) a black K30 body to update my K100D. Too good a deal to miss £319 with cashback + Pentax camera bag + luxury strap. On it's way from Clifton Cameras. Just been made redundant and taking early reitrement (from end of Feb 2013) so thought I could treat myself. How do they do it! The K30 body was £599.99 at launch in July.

I've only had my K100D a year - bought it as ex demo model and now find it has dust on the sensor and am wondering how best to clean it myself. So many different methods, products and recommendations - it's all very confusing.

I propose to use some isopropyl alcohol and some lint free swabs. I do not intend to use a blower or any other dry method. What do other members think?
