If you drive an older vehicle, worth only...say £1000, but it needs £180 spent on it to last another few years, it seems sensible, and good value.

Strange then that people owning a £1000 lens baulk at paying £180 or so for the new updated SDM motor and sensor?

They should return the lens to 'as new' (or better) performance and last several years........

That's why I feel it should be an International market with International warranties valid everywhere....

All this protectionism is SO 1950s........

Shame. Thanks and good luck!

I have a boxed, near mint K-5, body only with all accessories, very low actuations, latest firmware, lovely condition, light use, screen protectors from new, £350 (postage extra)

Is it black or white? GC.

Can't understand this..

If I didn't have one I would buy it myself! Perhaps the photo is off-putting with all those filters stacked on the lens, but this is a lens with the same outstanding optics as the 40mm Limited lens, and the smallest Pentax DSLR lens ever made, with crisp accurate autofocus and aperture, with great performance and an addictive and useful angle of view........sharper and better rendering than many (most?) Pentax zoom lenses......

.....hasn't anyone even made an offer? Weird!

Proper job...might even be worth ordering two ..."just in case"....

I got my silver one from Japan, then discovered Park Cameras and Wex photographic ion the UK have them. Wex shows a silver one but stock black for around £36.

New hoods are available, around £40.

I have one.... it has the same optics as the 40mm f2.8 limited, and is a superb lens for detail and colour.

I can personally recommend these lenses, at the price they are fetching they are a steal!!
