All i done in Photoshop CS was Crop, and levels, nothing else, i do not like to use flash but in this case it worked fine.

Taken at a local medieval fair last xmas, i consider this a lucky shot as the place was a busting point, next year i think i will get in very early, Taken on a Pentax *ist DL on Auto due to the large ammount people about.

This is my first attempt at converting colour to Mono, added noise and unsharp mask, also added contrast, i am pleased with the result as it got me 10 out of 10 at a recent society competition.

I am having probs with RAW on Photoshop CS, so i am having a dabble with Pentax PhotoLab, after doing adjustments etc which is easier enough how do i save it and what as ie which Jpeg or Tiff, i am sure once it has been saved in one of the those formats it will then open in CS, where i hope i will be able to crop, resize etc....or have i got it all wrong.


PS i have just read MollyMoo post below, so i save it to a Tiff ( File > Save As > Tiff. then open it in CS and do all adjusts as normal??

or do i have to click on Tiff 8 bit or 16 bit in the top right corner first.

I am just starting with RAW, My Raw photos automaticly go to Pentax Lab, they will not open in Photoshop CS, how do i get them to open in CS ...do i have to do something in Pentax Lab first, i took 2 pics one in Raw and one in Jpeg, when downloading them from my Pentax DL the RAW went to Pentax Lab and the Jpeg one to I photo where all my Pics go when taken in Jpeg, no tech jargen please, i use a Mac.

Yes John i agree, i was just curious as to where they got my email addy, you cannot be too careful these days even if it was a only a invitation to a forum

Ok thanks for that, i have had a check on other members email addys and they all vary ...yahoo. and others i have never heard of here in the UK.

Now it seems strange to me, that the people who registered and administer the domain use gmail email accounts and not an account belonging to their own domain!
