How in the world do you take pictures of fireworks? These are the best of what I got last night:



ISO: 3200
Exposure: 1/125 sec
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 55mm




ISO: 3200
Exposure: 1/180 sec
Aperture: f/4.5
Focal Length: 35mm




ISO: 3200
Exposure: 1/8 sec
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 40mm


Any tips on ISO settings or whatnot that might help in the future? I bumped ISO way up but maybe I didn't need to?
These are handheld - I followed the trail up then snapped the explosion. Anybody have a better method?

Tip: always fix that horizon before you post - I noticed quickly that a wonky horizon is a big no-no and everyone on here will let you know!
