Good judging E.M., I love that seal pic too. Congrats to timbo.

Thanks for the "favorite cat pic" honor!

Great shots, like your others.
Don't know much about lenses, but I have my eye on this one. I'd like to know about how far you were from your subjects in these, if you remember. And is #2 a crop, and if so how much?

That's one beautiful chateau. Maybe just me, but looks like it could use more contrast.

would love to subscibe to this magazine, but 26quid for 4 mags seems a little steep and if Martin has trouble getting it into the Netherlands then getting it too Aust will be even worse
Agree with you on that one. That's $50 for me - I don't think so.

What in the world is phpbb?

And I'm confused. Is the "Your Photos" and "Competition" sections being phased out in favor of the "Gallery"?

All in all, I think it's fine. Just a few tics to work out. Here's mine(and I feel a bit late in posting these):

I would like to see the "sticky" icon more pronounced to clearly show the thread is a "sticky". As it is, I have trouble distinguishing--is that a paper clip in there?

If possible, please ditch the "Ads by Google" line above the forum categories (on main page and each category's main page). So very distracting.

I don't see much reason to mark a thread as "Hot" with a bright yellow box which draws the eye. We can see if it's got more than one page and determine for ourselves that it's a popular thread. The yellow is just too much.

As mentioned before, spotting new posts, red text, pixel limit, and intrusive ads - all things to be addressed. Soon.

Now all that is minor but here's my last thing: one pic per day if you're not a magazine subscriber?! This mag would cost me $50.00 for FOUR issues! No way. Especially not for one that's filled with ads and other info that don't apply to my corner of the map. Seems like some great articles in there, but the cost for outside of Europe is prohibitive. Don't see the sense in that rule, what with being a UK mag supporting a global forum.

That's my 2 cents.
