I know what you are saying, but

from the BBC,

It's important to note, however, that you still own the copyright to everything you contribute to BBC News and that if your image is accepted, we will endeavour to publish your name alongside it on the BBC News website. The BBC cannot guarantee that all pictures will be used and we reserve the right to edit your comments.

It's quite low resolution as well, and I could always produce the original ?

Thanks Stephen, it's nice to know that images posted outside the Pentax forums can compete.

p.s, I always say that that it was Pentax I gear used.

We will wear the buggers down !!!!

Sorry, but I just had to broadcast this.

I submitted a picture to the BBC Scotland News web site to be included in a weekly selection, didn't manage to get in to it, instead they put it here,

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/default.stm

Click on " SCOTLAND'S BIG PICTURE ", about half way down the page.

I'm so pleased.

I like it, photography as art, most people would just walk by.

Hi Hyram, yes I love the 10-17mm, it's always on the camera. I also tend to take the Sigma 105 with me when I go walk-about.
I got a Pentax FA50 f1.4 recently and I'm starting to carry that as well, it's a 'quality' lens.
The rest of the lenses seem to stay in the cupboard, does that mean my LBA has died ???
Or does it mean I can take the all photographs I like with these three lenses, so I don't need to buy any more ?

But . . . .

I understand there is a 17-70mm coming, but if it was a fast 17-120mm I would probably start saving now.

Yes Mac, there was a lot of slobber !!!

This one let go through the nose, when she brought her head up, missed the camera, but got me on the sleeve. Looks a bit cross-eyed from this angle !

Went up into the hills above Inverness at the beginning of the week to catch the sunset near Lochness.

The sunset was a bit of a disappointment, but I had plenty of on-lookers that all took a turn to pose for me.
