Must agree with, "justgetoutandride", I have the Pentax 'fishy', 10-17mm and I bought it for the effect it produces. I used to use the Pentax 17-28mm fisheye on my Z-1, but lost the effect when I put it on the DS/K10D. So had to get the Pentax 10-17mm 'fishy'.

Don't know why you would want to 'correct' the original photo, I love it.

People, trees, paths, and even the clouds seem to point to the fantastic building in centre frame, lovely shot.

The Harley, 05:30hrs near Newtonmore.

I put a few pictures on my web page, you can see them there if you are interested, rather than post here,

http://web.mac.com/john_md/My_Pictures/Harley-Davidson_Trip.html

Most were taken on my Optio-550, as I could carry it in my pocket, and retrieve it quickly.
The K10D was packed away in the saddle-bags, and sealed against the weather, and didn't get much use as we were on the move a lot.

The meal at the Coruisk House, was fantastic, and would recommend a visit there to anyone traveling to Skye.

As Big Arnie once said, I'll be back

Next time I'll give the K10D more exercise, Elgol is worth it....

Update:-

Petrol situation seems better, so I'm a bit happier.

Pick up the Harley on Friday morning, stay in Inverness on the Friday night, travel to The Isle of Skye on Saturday.

Eat lobster dinners here, http://www.seafood-skye.co.uk/, it's a bit early in the season, but they are going to do their best for us.

Now just need to weather-proof the K10D and a few lenses for the trip.

SV650 without the PhotoShop 'flare'.

Camera in the grass, on self-timer.

It's a bit of PhotoShop flare, for effect.

This is me on my son's motorcycle, he got it in late March, and I managed to get my hands on it last weekend, for run down Lochness-side from Inverness, nice twisty road.

He's off to Northern Ireland later this month to see the Northwest 200 motorcycle races, so I suggested we take off for a weekend before he goes. We decided on the Isle of Skye, ( he want's a lobster dinner !!! ).

I was to borrow a friend's BMW GS650 for the trip, but have now arranged to rent a Harley Davidson from a Glasgow dealer.

Now to the point, weather forecast is cold and wet, so I'm not going to do the planned camping, will have to B&B, ( too old to rough it ).

The workers strike at the only Scottish refinery, has caused petrol shortages throughout Scotland, and long queue's at the petrol pumps.

I may have to park the Harley outside the house for 4 days if I can't get fuel.

I don't think I'll bother buying a lottery ticket this week, if it wasn't for bad luck . . . . . . . . . . well you know the rest

Sorry to hear about the cat

This was the only part of the house I could expose to the forum, I really could not be bothered moving empty beer cans, TakeAway boxes and dirty laundry from the rest of the house, although that may have made a better image for the competition !!! , must remember to get the dishes out of the bath, summer will be here soon.

John
