Here's some 'steers' for Don.

These are hairy Highland Cattle, so you might need to 'shave em'
before you BBQ them ???

As a Scotsman, I hate to say this, but grilled salt-marsh, Welsh lamb chops, must rate as a food 'Wonder of the World'.

The sheep pictures I posted are of a ewe and two rams, when viewed together I felt the ewe at the top was 'saying' I don't want to be here, where as the two rams were giving the impression, 'bring it on'.

I'll have to stop anthropomorphizing

Filled the 4Gig card with images at the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh last weekend.

Thought I would share a few with you, any shepherds out there ?

Here is a 'flock' of sheep that caught my eye.

All were under cover, ( not in the 'Secret Agent' meaning ), so it was big apertures and a steady hand

I read recently, that if you freeze hot water, you will not get the bubbles !!!

Haven't had the time or inclination to test it though.

amoringello,

I had been working away from home for most of the week, so didn't have much time to prepare a shot.

I was still looking for ideas on Sunday evening, stuck some water in a bottle, and thought the green straw may offer a 'highlight', put the lot in the freezer, and took it out a few hours later, cut the plastic bottle away leaving the ice and straw, hoping there may have been something that jumped out at me.

I liked the 'abstract' , but as you say, unless you know what it was, you would be lost.

Anyway, congratulations to Gartmore, 'Weegies' forever.

Eilean Donan Castle is a fantastic landmark, but in the first three pictures, it is fighting for attention, too little of it in the first two, and too much of it in the third. Boats, plants and nets all too much.

Seriously.....,I won't comment on the pictures one for one. Generally speaking I think most of them lack a bit of Oooompf. Saturation and contrast are missing here. And quit a few seem a bit on the soft side.
and I would agree, not all the pictures are bad, far from it, one or two could benefit from some cropping and a little lift in contrast. I think No.14 could be something special with a little work.
