That is so ugly !!!

The AirBus I mean !!!

Looks like a cross between a Hump-Back whale and a 737 ?

No wonder the monkey lost his head !

I like the first one Bob, at first I thought the sign in the window said, 'No Cursing', do camper owners swear a lot ?
Then I looked closer, " No Cruising', don't know if that is better or worse ?

The cottage seems to be level, and as you say, the shoreline and the mist are sloping, but they give the illusion that the whole picture is off the level.

The picture is good, but I think that John is right, there quite a few images here, the house and mist is one, the geese are another, and there are about 50 more combinations in-between ?

The colours and light are terrific though !!!

Matt, I did read some reviews about poor focusing, back / front focusing, and some quality issues, but it was the range I was looking for, and it was a Pentax so I took the plunge, ( rrp is now £700), just glad Chris had stock at he old price,

Reviews are ok, but I do like to see 'real world' shots, yours looked ok and I'm happy with mine, so it looks like we got a couple of good-n's !!!

'jackitec', I might consider a move to the K20D at some point, but for the moment I'm happy with what I have.

I know there has been a lot of 'heated' discussion about equipment on the forums lately, but I think my K10D and the lenses I have are first class !!!

Would another camera or lens improve my photography ? NO

Taking lots more photographs, experimenting more, a pair of hiking boots, loosing 3 stone, and climbing a few of the Scottish Mountains for the views, might improve it though

Hi Matt, you did say before that you thought that it compared very well to the 50/1.4, but I thought you must have been drinking !!!

Well it appears not !!!!

I'm in total agreement.

I may find it hard to remove from the K10D !!!

p.s. she's not getting it on the wall, I may do an A4 with a very big frame though

John

I took my Sister's three young kids to the beach last weekend, yes it was Scotland, and we do have beaches, and sometimes there is no rain, and sometimes there is some sun, and sometimes it is quite warm, ok, I know, not very often

Anyway got a lot of images with the kids all jumping about in the sand, water and rock-pools.

I found the 17-70 to be and excellent performer, and I'm really pleased with the results, my little niece, Tara loved this one and she wants it blown up to fit her bedroom wall !!!

If the photography thing doesn't work out, we could all meet up, get pissed and look for Tom Hanks ?
