Headless Monkey And Friends

So I popped to the zoo with my little one. Did'nt take many shots, but I'm happy with what I did (all with the DA*50-135).













Whilst I was there, the famous Airbus Beluga flew over:




(and i'll include this anyway - a shot I took yesterday with a 2XTC attached - a buzzard over Helsby)




The last time I went to the zoo, I took the 18-55 and the 55-300. I did get great results, but I also had dissapointing ones in equal measure.

The monkey and lizard shots are through glass would you believe - I am quite stunned at how fantastic they are - the lizard shot is so sharp.

Also I was VERY frustrated last time in the exotic butterfly house, as all the elements steamed up in both 18-55 and 55-300, and I could'nt do anything with either lens!. Today with the 50-135, not even the front element steamed up! I was expecting better performance because of the weather sealing...but I at least expected the front element to have condensation. I was amazed.
