I think the style of your website suits your photography well, but two things that IMHO I do not like is the long scrolling front page, I prefer a page by page and some of your photos link and some do not, apart from that looks strong and good.

Hi Lilly thanks for feedback, I need to change my front page, hence the lack of updates for a whilst. I have been mainly focussing on my portfolio page as I have not updated it for over a year now ouch!!!!

I like the portfolio, really simple and easy to use. You main page I found a bit messy though. There is a lot of content and it was not obvious what the page was meant to provide or showcase.

Great pictures though especially in the portfolio.

Great pictures but...

In IE8 all I can see are the 16 thumbnails and the one big picture, I tried compatibilty mode but still the same. It wasn't until I read Lily's thread that I discovered I should be seeing more.

Ken, pressing on the arrow below photo 16 would help.

Great portfolio, although the simpleviewer is a bit standard but really working well. maybe you can play with the codes a bit?

I was doing that, I just expected to see at least Gary's name and contact details etc. What do you see?

Ken, I only see the photos.
With some of the other standard simpleviewer you can add comments, titles and such.

Love the /portfolio part of the site, very simple and no frills yet still slick, however the homepage causes some kind of major slowdown in Safari on a Mac (to the point where I have force-quit Safari after 30 seconds of waiting). It's happened to me several times over the last few weeks. Seems okay in Safari on a PC though. Thought you'd like to know.

No problems with Safari on my Mac.

Very nice selection, some amazing shots. The site performed just as it should for me, no issues with navigating or with performance.

Thanks for the feedback people, really appreciate your time.

I really wanted the portfolio to be as simple as possible with the images doing all the talking, rather than explain who the artists are or where they where photographed.

Now I have sorted that out I now need to figure out how to include it into a frame so it fits the rest of the site layout. Definately need to sort out the front page, over time it has become very long & is now really a duplicate of the published page. Will have to have a think & maybe just have my latest gig photo on the index page???
