Thanks for all the positive comments.
I've been working away from home again this week, so it cheered me up to read them when I got back !
Hoping to get back into Edinburgh this weekend, might try to capture some of the 'Xmas shoppers'.

I was going back to the car park when I saw the light reflected on to the road.
I was about to take the photograph, when I heard the ambulance coming, so I just waited for a second or two.
Seemed to work a bit better than I had planned.

I haven't picked up the camera for about 2 months
Went into Edinburgh this morning with the the K10D took the Pentax 10-17, Pentax 17-70 and the Sigma 105.
I decided three things, a). I don't need any other lenses, b). the Pentax 17-70 is superb, and c). the Sigma is the sharpest tool in the box, and four, ( I know I said 'three' at the start ), but I could not live without the 'Fishy'

Just got back, very cold in 'Auld Reekie' today.
You are right, 'edumad', tonight would be good, the lights will be fantastic.
Unfortunately, I have a date with beer that I can't break, so had to come home early
Might post one or two later, Gareth. Viewing them at the moment.

Forecast for Edinburgh today, cold but sunny.
Conditions sound good for a trip into the Capital and a visit to the German Xmas Market.

I've had very good service and prices here,
7dayshop
I think a few people on these forums have used them as well.
99.99999999999999999999999999% recommendation
On second thoughts, 100% recommendation, the thing I asked for wasn't available, they sent me a better equivalent.

ffordes, seem to have added a few Pentax lenses recently.
Not the cheapest, but the service is good.
I have no connection, but have been to their shop a few times, and have been happy with their service and customer relations.
Maybe someone is looking for a specific lens, so I thought I would post the link .

About 14:00 hours
K10D + 17 - 70mm f4 Pentax,
most of the exif data seems to be in tact, but usually there is more, I'll need to investigate.
