Just tried it and like it. I already have PTGui and it seems very similar. I've got a few big stitches from the tops of various points in the Lake District so I'll have a longer go with it later. I prefer panos with the 50mm to be honest but only maybe carry three lenses when walking - Most decent walks my mate tends to carry the tripod in exchange for 2 points of guinness so no hassle weight wise.

Is there an outbreak of mass dyscalculia?
sit me in room with no visual points of reference, and I will be unable to tell you if I've been there for five minutes, fifty minutes of five hours.

Not keen on the first one, looks like part of the hand is missing
Number 3 is just your usual baby shot, nothing to like/dislike really.
Do like number two though, would be happy with that.

The 55-300 is very good and at 300mm you'll be framing 1/2 (near enough) the area you would at 200mm, so it will bring you significantly 'closer'. I'm thinking (heresy :shock of ditching the 60-250 and going back to it.
Defo the 55-300 (which i have now) over the 70-300 (which I also have but is now back in the UK, packaged and ready to go, and will be up for sale shortly). The PF in the 70-300 isn't that bad in 99% of circumstances, however it is noticeably more than the low incidence of PF from the 55-300 which is an incredible lense for the money.

1. Curves contrast auto adjustment (it wasn't much but lightened the whole shot a fraction). You could probably achieve the same in LR or use the exposure adjustment.
2. Used the Dodge brush (I'm sure LR must have one of these) to lighten the head.
3. Used the selective sharpen brush to sharpen the whole bird.
You can't actually tell so much from those small pics but the difference is actually quite a lot and the whole eye area is clearly visible.
