Agree on the borders. These are excellent shots that look just a touch over-cooked on the cropping / sharpening / saturation fronts IMO. I like #2 best.

Really like #3 - standing alone without your commentary it could easily be interpreted as a confrontation !

Personally I think street lends itself to colour or B&W depending on the scene. I usually prefer colour (against the grain on here I know !) but the Dubai set I put up a link to, a couple of days ago, was absolutely superb in B&W (though I'd have liked to see the contrast with some colour shots too).

Another one for the : 'great shots but over-saturated / colours are wrong' camp. Definitely think you are cropping too close now, introducing noise & losing detail.

It's great to see all your hard work paying off - I put in lots of hours without too much in the way of photographic reward (other than the joy of watching the pair). This is a fantastic series of shots you are being rewarded with !

Whatever they can repair removing the dents from the lens is not going to be one of them, reason enough right there I would have thought for a replacement (it will greatly affect it's resale value). However the fact that extensive damage seems to have been done may mean other unseen damage inside, e.g. detached elements maybe. I'd insist on a replacement not a repair.

I've never put a link to shots on another forum before but these are just absolutely outstanding and for those who like street shooting and B&W then these are a real treat.

John - if this is not acceptable then please delete.

The 35mm because it's a great length for use as a walkaround prime.
