The first two don't do anything for me but the 3rd & 4th are just superb.

What a great camera you chose to buy Dave. I'm sure, like many of us that own one, you are going to find it one superb piece of kit.

My parents have had 3 cats and every one of those was a stray that 'adopted' them too !

Ha ha - I think that is a little OTT ... but the lighting is gorgeous - love the shaft of light hitting the leaf/fly. Great shot.

You're forgetting the DA 17-70 Frogfish. And the Sigma equivalent .

The DA17-70 may be an F4 but I have never found that to be a problem with it.
You (or someone) had mentioned it already I've heard only good things about it but have no idea of it's size/weight ? Agree f4 on a K5 is not an issue at all.

Well the OP asked for something that fits his 15 + 70 prime range but is light with excellent IQ. For me the Tamron 17-50/2.8 is the closest zoom I can think of that meets that criteria. Very sharp, good colours, light and relatively inexpensive. The Pentax lenses are neither light (16-50 & 50-135) or fit the range (50-135).

Holiday snaps ? Do you say freaking holiday snaps !?!

I nearly skipped the thread because of the title ... what a miss that would have been. Some superb shots in that set. Just gorgeous processing too.

A few shots from the hundreds I'm still sorting through from the Shanghai Rugby Sevens last weekend ...... I was second shooter to a Pro so I must admit with a media pass I had great pitch-side access.

My K7 was spot on - perfect and I used it a lot. However on the K5 it is miles off and I have a serious tilt if I try to use it. Pity as I do tend to tilt my cameras to the left
