Of course you need a tripod to do AEB correctly i have a tripod and shutter release - proof is in the pudding , check my link out to see my hdr shots on redbubble................

A lot easier with a camera that auto brackets as it reduces the chance of camera shake

you dont need hdr you need a k10 and some hdr software check this out!!!!

Anyone considering buying the remote f for the purposes of hdr photography be advised that once you have set the camera up for auto-bracketing 5 frames will not be taken by holding down the shutter release button on the remote f but if you invest in a cabled remote shutter you can hold down the shutter release and it will take all 5 shots , i have had first hand experience of this so my advice would always be go for the wired shutter release whether its from ebay or the offical £30 pentax one.

i have the standard 18-55mm to lens ?

I have only one lens from K10d at the moment and dont intend to change it for a long time , therefore the lens will not be removed from the camera , my photography takes me to the coast , woods , citycentres just about anywhere really - is it still likely i will get dust on my sensor if the lens never gets removed?

I have ordered a remote release now from ebay approx £8 inc p&p , the sellers office is in Aus but the actual post from location is portsmouth so me living in kent is damn handy!
