They are not too bright. If anything I would say that in some the subject is a little underexposed - but there are some tricky lighting conditions there to deal in some photos - sunlight and shade, bright backgrounds - such as Mr Tree where the subject looks perfectly exposed but the sky is (inevitably in this case) bright.

Nice starfish. The rest look promising from the first centimetre, but connection speeds are slow in rural France and I need to watch my kids grow up.
