K5 - Strange Spot

This from my new K5:




Heavy crop of the area to the left of the dog's right eye:




It is always there. Processing RAW files in Lightroom removes it, but camera produced JPEGs don't.

Any advice welcome.

Dead pixel?
Think I would send it back to Supplier.

Certainly looks like a hot pixel, the supplier is very unlikely to replace the camera for this - have you tried running the Pixel mapping, I think it should sort it out?

I have had this with the k20d - pixel mapping sorted it

Thanks chaps. I hadn't heard of that before. I tried the pixel mapping and it seems to have gone.
