I'm Jerry, well, kind of, and i live in Wickford, Essex.
My first DSLR was a K200d which i bought in 2009 and recently sold it and bought a K7 (about 4 days ago!). Pentax attracted me right from the off because of their superb build quality and lens legacy. More than that i didn't want to go for the easy Canon/ Nikon option, they just never appealed to me.
I don't shoot anything particular, i'm yet to find my niche, but i'm looking forward to taking more photgraphaphs with the K7. I'm also hoping to build up a decent collection of lenses - when i can afford them! I'm off to pick up 35mm 2.4 later today, and hope to add a few more primes in the coming months.
I also own a Samsung EX1 which is my go anywhere camera for nights out etc. which i think is a really underated camera.
Anywho, its great to have finaly joined and i hope to bother you all with my queries as my imagination and ambition start to outweigh my talent and technical understanding!
Regards,
Jerry
