well, I wouldn't say there's no ca (I don't make much effort to discern one type from another....wine on the otherhand...I can tell a merlot from a cabernet-sauvignion, even if I can't spell it).

so here's the thing...
I get some on the 10-17 if I blow the highlights...if I get the highlights right what ever's there seems to get cleaned pretty good in aperture.

my 28-200 is my second worst offender, and even that is fixable, but since that lens gets used for candids, not portraits, I rarely ever blow images up past 8x10 from it. (these days...in the film days 16x20's were common).

my worst offender is my sigma 400mm f4

I shoot weddings...white dresses and black tuxedos indoors and outdoors, artificial and natural light, studio strobes/video hotlights, shade/sun day/night....

my clients get prints from 8x10 to 20x30.

my hardware/software combo must be working cause I'd see the purple in my prints if it wasn't, I'd hear about from my clients also.
