of course people squint, at the bright light at first, but they adjust.
surprisingly good in low light, but amazing for people shots, outdoors, in bright sun...(fill light situations, with the added bonus of warming up your skintones, while not affecting your background colors!)

one of those two has better night vision than the other.....
I can suggest that turning up the ambient light, or adding a video light to your kit will dial down those "evil" pupils! (now, for those that have mother-in-laws with glowing red eyes...try Holy Water first....better safe than sorry.).

Therefore decide to have both, devise a plan of action and move on it.

Here it is you, with your trusty camera, taking very nice photos of your lovely daughter and her friend, as they head off to a dance...(where there'll be hundreds of young boyz (each of whom having enough testosterone in thier systems to drop a race horse)).
Sadly I'd have been too preoccupied, remembering what I was like at that age.. to pick up a camera....I would be too tempted to pick up a baseball bat and a roll of duct tape.. and been lying in wait for any "Dates" that were foolhardy enough to be ringing my doorbell.....
