if using sr with a tripod causes blur in the images...
what happens if you have good technique, and steady hands....no tripod...will sr induce blur, or improve your shots?
I've been experimenting. With shots in low light, 1/2 sec exp at f2 iso 100, I'm getting sharper images without sr....
any steady handed shooters out there care to try also, and let me know how it works out for you?
I'd like to rule out any problems with my cameras before drawing conclusions.

seriously...I wear a hip pac bag and do my lens swap over the bag in case something drops... I pay attention to the red dots, and do a swap with the camera facing down, one lens in my right hand( thumb and pinky hold), camera in the right hand also, one finger (same one I use to wave to other manitoba drivers) on the release.
A turn of the left hand pops the old lens off the body, moves the (already loosened) cap off the new lens (left thumb and index finger) to the old lens, place the lens in the bag and then snap the new lens on.
takes three seconds (or so) start to finnish.

could be on to something...
But I still think it's hardly productive to snap a camera, and not ook at the results.
