Cat & Mouse!!

I was out in the yard with my camera last night when i heard a comotion under the balcony and found the cat had caught a mouse.
He was just playing with it and eventually let it go.

I thought it was a gonna here, But no



He released it and it headed for the lawn



Just one more sniff and warning about trespassing



And it scurried off into the night.

how does a cat with two bells on still catch a mouse?

I think the mouse was deaf

I'm still trying to figure out why a cat (with two bells) that caught a mouse (even a deaf one) would let it go....

You must feed your cat a lot more than we do... Ours catches lots of things, but there's usually not enough left to positively identify the catch... something with fur or feathers is usually the best we can do, based on the few scraps we see...

maybe those two are in cohoots...
mousey makes an appearance once in a while....kitty pretends to catch and dispose of said mousey once in a while....Clarky's wifey rewards kitty for job well done....kitty and mousey split the reward...of course now that Clarky's got the whole scam documented...that reward is gonna have to get split three ways...Watch Clarky tell Missus Clarkey to set a bottle of beer with kitty's kibble as a bonus next time......
