Chris, just so you know....
People were getting sharp images, and nice pans, long before sr was invented.
just not everybody.....

just like people were having bowel movements long before ex-lax....
just not everybody....

if you think it helps...use it!

very few people would look at that image and realize, just how perfect the timing was.
getting the artificial, and natural light to balance perfectly, is definately a credit to the photog.

good timing!

linkhey George, did you know there's a command you can use in the "Terminal" that opens up Safari's "Debug" mode?
this allows you to emulate other browsers (my bank for example used to only work with internet explorer)?

ok then, my very, very first camera....
when I was about four years old.
I got a quarter, and bought a camera from a second hand store. (Good ol' Sally Ann, for those that know what that is).
It was an old, folding Polariod.
Nobody was ever able to get me film for my camera....
So I'd open it up, put in peices of paper. Making sure to get one sticking through the rollers.
Then when I took a photo, I'd pull out a piece of paper, and draw it myself.
I also used to hide candy in it.

wait for the print and see if the print looks closer to image 1 or image 2, on your monitor.

truth is, you could take a peice of dung, stick a canon lens on it and send it in for a review.
I'd love to see them tap dance around that!

"The newest canon model, the dfik8, is ripe for the fertile mind! Fits warmly in the hand and has Royale written all over it! Now then, let's focus on the lens which is classic Canon!" blah, blah, blah....

If the reviewer called it what it was....the editor would have his head.
you'll accept that somebody has to lose, and it's usually the company with the smallest ad budget.
