Antishake and Monopod

I'm sure we've had this conversation somewhere...I think I would leave SR on with a monopod, especially if I'm using it because the image continues to waver all over the place.
For me it's hand held with SR on or tripod with SR off. Monopods I never could get to grips with.

I turn it off when using a monopod. I use the pod for sports so I am moving the camera as I pan to follow the action.
It is really great for hand helds in low light.

People were getting sharp images, and nice pans, long before sr was invented.
just not everybody.....
