What sort of money are you prepared to pay?

The lenses were all purchased second-hand, and are quite reasonable to look at and work perfectly. There is no fungus on any of them, and optics are clean. The 70-210 is very tidy indeed.

I was thinking of putting them on Ebay...

I have an MX body (and MX winder), a Super A body (and ME-II winder), 35-105mm f/3.5 SMC-A zoom lens, 70-210mm f/4-5.6 SMC-A zoom lens, 50mm f/1.4 SMC-A standard lens, AF200T flash unit, AF280T flash unit and various non-Pentax gear (teleconverter, a 80-200 zoom, little cobra slave flash and other odds) that is now sitting idle.

If anyone is interested in buying any of this equipment, please let me know. I intend to replace the light seals on the MX (which I bought new in 1981 at a tender age) as they are decomposing.

Interesting problem with focusing. But that apart, everything I've read is very good. The TIPA award is a little cherry on the top.

Probably getting mine (from Jessops) in the latter half of November. I can't wait!

Still using my Super A and MX (both mid-roll and ready for action), and will continue to do so alongside the K10D.

Repairs!?? What went wrong? (I'm having a K10D for my birthday/Christmas this year.)

I somehow managed to get all the way through, scoring 118 points.

Imagine how much better I would have done if it had been a K10D.

Without wishing to hijack this thread, has anyone got any comments to make about the fixed focal lenght lenses such as the 40mm "limited" lens?

They're not cheap, as you know. But worth getting hold of.
That ad is over a year old from September 2006. The first 2 lenses are available now, the 60-250 . . . who knows when?
Agreed with age of article. I was just pointing out these fine lenses to those of us that hadn't read about them...

I think the first two are about £500 each.

Good luck!

Just noticed yet another reduction in the price of the K10D in Jessops (UK). Now, K10D + 18-55 for £480.

In another 12 months, they'll be £380! (I hope.)

Sounds like you just want us to tell you to go ahead and sell the K100D and keep the K10D.

Go on, you know you want to!
