So the "recent shutter overhaul" was eight years ago?
G
I wouldn't have thought that more than 200 shots have been fired since the overhaul.

The Super A and the MX now have new light seals, and I have tested both winders.

I was going through my camera bag and found the job sheet for the shutter/film transport service (performed in 2000) as well as the manuals for the MX, MX winder, Super A, AF200T flash and AF280T flash, so they will go with the appropriate item when sold.
Also, I inspected the Super A and found that it also required light seal repair. I have bought a repair kit, and spent a couple of hours last night replacing the light seals, taking great care, and all now seems fine. I'll put a film in it tonight, and test the ME-II winder as well. Update to follow afterwards.

Ok. So it might be more to do with the wind-on mechanism than the shutter itself.

Luckily my local camera shop, Camera Gear of Rochester in Kent, was in touch with a chap who did a full camera servicing job on most models, and he sorted it all out for £90-ish. When I got it back, it was slicker than ever and to be honest felt brand new.
I do have a piece of paper somewhere showing receipt for this work, but I cannot find it, so all I can do is tell you that the camera wind-on action is smooth and the whole operation of the camera is absolutely fine.

Three people are interested in the flash bracket and the MX winder, and one of these people is also interested in the 50mm f/1.4 standard lens. Without wishing to offend any of the others here, I am going to sell those three items just mentioned to that person. Apologies to the other two; please understand that I have had to make this difficult decision purely on the strength of my intent to sell equipment.
To everyone else, if you want to see the items I am offering for sale, I have constructed a little web page. Please be aware that I consider the flash bracket, 50mm standard lens and MX winder to be "under offer" pending receipt of payment from the relevant person.
The link to this web page is here.

We all make our choices and decisions based on our findings at the time, and when I was buying, I felt that the "kit lens" that came with the Nikon D80 (the 18-70 zoom) was a better starting point than the 18-55 zooms offered by most of the other brands.
I also preferred the look of the Nikon D80 to the other choices, Canon and Pentax, so perhaps that makes me slightly odd, perhaps not. I'm sure most of us consider aesthetics when making purchase decisions.
The Pentax K20D looks a great piece of kit, but it has arrived since I got the Nikon D80 so it's rather academic now.
All that said, I'm still offering my 35mm collection for sale and hope some of it is of interest to you.

I would have to specify either a reserve or a starting price, I suppose. Wouldn't want to let it all go for pathetic money, but being realistic I'm not after robbing people either.
So, for you people who might be interested, here are my preferred prices:
PENTAX MX body : £75 (when light seals replaced)
PENTAX Super A body : £75 (recent shutter overhaul)
PENTAX MX winder : £20
PENTAX ME-II winder : £20
PENTAX 50mm f/1.4 SMC-A lens : £60
PENTAX 35mm-105mm f/3.5 SMC-A lens : £75
PENTAX 70mm-210mm f/4-5.6 SMC-A lens : £75
PENTAX AF200T TTL flash : £30
PENTAX AF280T TTL flash : £40
COBRA slave flash (small) : £5
PENTAX Flash bracket : £5
TOKINA 80mm-200mm PENTAX-A fit : £20
TOKINA 28mm f/2.8 PENTAX-A fit : £20
This is a starting point, and I welcome any replies or comments. Obviously, with film falling away from general public interest (and remaining the province of purists) prices are mostly subject to demand.
I live in Kent, England, in case anyone might be interested...

I've moved on to a digital SLR, and after much research I moved on to Nikon and bought a D80.
I have had many years (nay, decades) experience with Pentax, owning an MX, Super A and an ME Super and the usual paraphernalia (winders, lenses, etc.) and the decision to move on was not easily made. In the end, I moved to Nikon for purely handling reasons. I feel/felt (perhaps wrongly) that Pentax were slightly behind with performance in the digital field.
But I hear what you say, and am going to take photographs of my Pentax gear anyway (for Ebay, this forum and anyone else who might be interested) and will post them on here if possible in the near future.
I haven't replaced the MX light seals yet, but will do so soon. Then, the equipment will be for sale.
